Jillian Totman grew up on the east coast of North Carolina. She was very active in student government and thoroughly enjoyed advocating for fellow classmates. Jillian started her degree in accounting but then her interest in politics eventually made her switch to political science.

She then went on to study Law to learn the intricacies of regulations. Advocacy, political research, and the role of mentorship
